The camera itself was good for the price. Day and night quality seemed great at first. I installed the parking security mode cable and it was a bit of a hassle, but it depends on the car, not Goluk's fault. However, I live near Sacramento and we see 100 degree heat all the time. I read reviews from people complaining about the heat and Goluk replied that it was tested at 170+ or so. I installed mine over the weekend and am very happy with it. I always park in my garage out of direct sunlight and going shopping at the weekend didn't seem to be a problem. However, as soon as I got to work on Monday, the problems started. It hadn't even been out an hour, and when I got back to the car to get something, I heard the camera repeating "memory card error." Now after reading some reviews I realized that the problem was with the memory card I bought (64GB Sandisk Ultra). However, the camera itself didn't respond to anything I did; The wifi wasn't broadcasting to connect, I turned it off and it kept beeping and telling me "memory card failed" for a while. .After a few hours I was able to reset it and it seemed to be working fine again. The SD card still had an "error" so I put in the 16GB card that came with the camera. The next day (yesterday) I took my dog to the vet for vaccination. Was inside for literally 15 minutes and went outside to find the same problem. again. I tried the SD on the camera and they were perfect. I saw another review where the seller said it could be a faulty camera as it is rated for a lot more heat so I hope I got the faulty one. , but in short, this camera doesn't take direct sunlight well. It gets damn hot in my garage at night and she doesn't seem to mind. I'm waiting to be contacted by Goluk support.
