Why did I wait so long to get a tart pan?
This is one of those things I wish I had bought decades ago. The bottom lifts out leaving almost none of your tart on the sides. Then the tart slides right off the bottom piece once it cools a little. You can accomplish approximately the same result with a spring form pan, but the scalloped edges add a lot to my enjoyment of the finished product. Cleans up like magic.
- Great size pan. The coating does scratch off if you use metal on it.
- The pans may not be suitable for use on all types of ovens or heat sources
