What an amazing little light!

I have tried many book lamps over the years but they have been heavy, uncomfortable and flimsy. I thought I missed a few generations. That's great! It's light enough that it can easily be attached to a mass-market paperback (including a number of pages) and it doesn't weigh down or slip or anything like that. The neck is very flexible. Maybe it moves too easily - I always adjust - but the upside is that you can make small adjustments and get just that. There's not a huge difference between the two brightness settings, but it's the difference between bright enough to disturb your eyes on a white page and perfect for reading. I haven't tried lighter settings on the color page, but I think it would be nice. Another great thing about this is how LED lights work. In this configuration they illuminate one or two large sides of the mass market and the light thrown further is very weak. This also makes it a great night light. The light is dim enough to help you navigate—like starlight, but not as bright as moonlight—and not so bright as to disturb your sleep.
