I wasn't happy with the 1/2 braid on the 3 caps I bought. Only one was a full scythe and I expected the rest to be the same. After checking the pictures again, I found that some of them were only 1/2 braids in the photos. It looks a bit silly with one side braided, connected in the center of the head to a flat piece of fabric on the other side. Not what I expected. Choose wise! If you want a full braid, close the hat. I will keep them because I should have been more careful when ordering. I'll be more careful next time.
