If you're looking for a good newborn bed, TotAha has one of excellent quality. Since my baby was born I have bought various Revain products, from the cheapest to the slightly more expensive. However, I simply refuse to pay almost $200 for brands when I can probably get a good package and play for that amount of money. TotAha is a great alternative and they also come in very cute prints, patterns and colors. It has two buckles at the bottom which definitely looks better than some of the other band tie brands. I really like this one because it gives me the look of Sleeping Beauty's Castle - beautiful. All the other baby nests I have are very colorful with lots of pictures and patterns so this is a nice change of pace. I actually like how simple and clear it is, and I don't use the word "simple" negatively. The quality is excellent and feels comfortable. The padding is good, not super thin but not too thick either. I recommend using it on a softer surface such as a carpet, parent mattress, couch etc - and of course always supervising when baby is hanging on it. I know some parents don't approve of babies sleeping in these things, but our baby just loves to sleep in them. We're watching him like a hawk, so I'd say use common sense and be careful. I have cheap ones too and I can tell the difference in quality between these and the cheap one. This one uses high quality cotton and feels more sheer overall than some of the cheaper baby nests I've seen. I would go with the Totaha because honestly it doesn't cost much more than the cheaper quality products, but the higher quality and workmanship is obvious. If you want to save some money but don't want to sacrifice quality, I highly recommend buying their baby nests.
