I took them out of the box but realized they wouldn't fit me before trying them on. I had a chrome version of these on my Victory Cross Country and they were perfect. However, the racing bike handlebars on my Indian Chieftain Dark Horse are much tighter than on the Vic. These pegs are too bulky and too wide for the way I prefer to use them, which is to place my heel on the bottom plate and rest the ball of the foot on the pegs. This is a great product but a bit over the top for my current bike. I returned them and got "Show Chrome Accessories 21-334BK Satin Black 1-1/4" Highway Bar Pegs" instead which suit me and my bike much better. If you have these, be careful when tightening as the metal is very soft and the bolt holes rip easily (I cut two, one hole in each bolt) at least not on my bike You should include a warning or torque specifications with this product.
