I have a 10ft cable that I am currently using for gaming due to draining my batteries too quickly. Cable isn't a problem, so I wanted it far enough away from my large TV in the living room. Unfortunately, the cable provides power but does not work. Windows 10 users get the message "Driver Descriptor Request Failed" stating that this cable is pretty useless for what you wanted. Now I have a very long USB charging cable that I don't need.
