. I was hesitant to buy this because going from one input to eight outputs would likely dampen (muffle) the signal and cause poor TV reception in my house would cause. But look, it works fine. I have a Verizon Fios cable input to this splitter and the signals from the outputs are good enough for Verizon signals even over long cables. I can't vouch for other signal sources (may not be enough for a passive antenna on your roof), but for my situation with my Verizon Fios TV, this splitter works fine.
