We received this on June 14th and my boyfriend was so in love with this product during the day on June 14th that he managed to drink 5 shots of espresso! This is an amazing product! It's easy to use. Comes with a small dusting brush. It actually produces what I would almost classify as a double shot. I worked in a coffee shop for 4 years and the amount of espresso she makes is definitely more than a shot. The shot he fired was perfect! The amount of foam was minimal but enough to get a nice color on top. The device came in a nice sturdy protective case. It was only slightly longer than my arm so perfect for travelling, camping, hiking etc. Honestly my boyfriend and I work 24 hour emergency services and we don't always have time to stop between calls at the cafe or the cafe is at 2am :00 am not open when we really need it. I think when we boil this and get hot water it will be of great help to stay alert and not feel bloated as we drink 4 regular cups of coffee from our base coffee pot. Advice we both discussed: We buy whole grains for espresso and have a small electric grinder at home. This device seems to work best when the soil is very good. The first two recordings were our experimental recordings. We have found that the shot is much cleaner when the grains are milled twice for a finer product. I would recommend grinding as fine as possible before taking a shot. All in all it took less than 5 minutes with beans pulled out of the cupboard, double ground, boiled with water and ready shot. This is such a humble/frugal way to drink espresso throughout the day. We are seriously considering getting each of our espresso loving families one of these for Christmas and maybe buying another to keep in one of our work bags.
