Rap music, various electronic genres, and loud, thumping bass are my jams, and this gadget handles them all admirably. A full and luscious tone that doesn't slant in any particular direction (someone will probably say the bass is up, but for me this is exactly what I want from the sound, besides, the bass here is very good, rather complement the sound, rather than distort it). Sometimes I just use it as a noise canceler at the office or out on the street to block out distractions like the hum of the air conditioner or the sound of traffic. This gadget is fantastic, by the way.
