I don't like the instructions. They're good, except I didn't want to behave the way they wanted. Just let me put the pieces together and then I'll figure it out. The instructions called for "matching" when the parts were assembled. Not the way I wanted, but still I got there. What I like best about it is that even though the back of my monitor is very thick on the bottom and thin on the top, the VESA plate can be parallel to the screen. I have a feeling this could all be made simpler or at least shipped partially assembled. My monitor is a simple flat panel with back panel connectors running down the longest part of the back panel. Unfortunately, unless I go extreme and get a hand all the way to the end or too close to the middle, it blocks one or more ports (HDMI, VGA, audio-out, power jack) or presses the power button or configuration buttons. It looks like whoever designed my monitor made every effort to prevent it from being mounted on a VESA mount. This kit mostly fits unless I plan on using all the ports on the back of the monitor.
