Review on 🚲 Enhanced Blackburn Outpost Bicycle Frame Bag by Nathan Akers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent value for money frame backpack.

I just fitted this to my Specialized Crosstrail (size XL) but the large size is great and fits the frame really well when fully open. Higher quality bag. than I expected, as did the flash. Zippers appear to be weather proof/rubber stitching. Good long side pocket on the left, large compartment on the right. The right side also has small stretchable outer pockets that can hold small snacks. The interior has a Velcro divider flap to freely separate/separate items from the top/bottom. I have a 3 liter hydration bladder, bike lock, pump and enough space for some other things like battery, lights etc if needed. I first bought it to get my backpack (and water bladder) off my back and it helps. Check out my photo showing the top down view - no problem if the bag is too wide while driving, even with all that stuff stuffed inside. so (pointing backwards) that the tube has to swing back and forth to exit. It works, but I think forward facing would work better. A very minor complaint. I had to purchase an extender for the water bladder hose to get a comfortable length for sipping on the go. Plenty of loops to attach to the bag to use with velcro loops that can be moved to attach to the frame if needed. Worked great for me. I wasn't impressed with any of the other budget custom frame bags out there. I even looked in the custom frame bag. But for the price I paid for it I am very happy with the bag and would definitely consider this Blackburn line of products for future bag purchases if they last as long over time as I have in real life use.
