Just as good as Apidura at half price

I was considering buying a more expensive Apidura, Revelate or Ortlieb frame bag but decided to try this Blackburn Outpost bag first. I couldn't be happier. The bag is well made and very functional. Mesh side pockets come in handy for gels or snacks, and the hydrator pass-through is great for not only a hydration tube but also cable management. I keep the battery in my pocket and use it to charge my phone and power my headlight/taillight. The slim left side pocket is perfect for a wallet and…

Great roomy frame bag

I started looking for frame bags when I needed an alternative to carrying a water tank on my back for long trips. I find the Medium Blackburn Outpost bike frame bag to be the best solution. The attachment points are fairly easy to attach and hold the bag securely in place. The mesh pocket on the side is great for storing snacks on the go. The zippered side pocket offered plenty of space for everything you need. The hydration tube hole was the main selling point - I bought 1.5L and 3.0L water…

Best frame bag I've ever seen

At first I looked for bags with a rigid frame so they wouldn't look 'wet' when empty. I found a few but they were all too small for my chain to squeeze into. I gave up and decided to try this bag. It fits me perfectly - a decent size, holds its shape very well (although it's not exactly a hard case), and I was also able to hook a Schwinn portable pump underneath (which I couldn't with a hard case). ). Pockets I tried)! There is also a divider in the main compartment that can be attached…

Small size perfect for storage during the day

When I do day trips on the hiking trails, go to the post office or coffee shops, I needed enough storage space to keep an eye on while driving ( I have Heard stories of airbags going out without drivers knowing). I also wanted room for my cable lock, tools, and everything else without sacrificing space for my water bottle. After a long search and research, I decided on the small Blackburn frame bag for my Giant Roam Medium Frame Bike. That's great! Expands for a coiled cord lock, has a divider…

Excellent value for money frame backpack.

I just fitted this to my Specialized Crosstrail (size XL) but the large size is great and fits the frame really well when fully open. Higher quality bag. than I expected, as did the flash. Zippers appear to be weather proof/rubber stitching. Good long side pocket on the left, large compartment on the right. The right side also has small stretchable outer pockets that can hold small snacks. The interior has a Velcro divider flap to freely separate/separate items from the top/bottom. I have a 3…

Fits perfectly with the Giant Defy Advanced 52 (Small) frame

The Blackburn Outpost Medium fits almost perfectly into my giant Defy Advanced 52 Triangle (Small), with some room down in the bottom corner. Before installing the bag, I took a 3 meter clear bra sleeve and wrapped the tubing so the straps wouldn't rub or ruin the paint. I stick a film on each contact point of the bag with the frame. The 2 liter tank fits snugly in the protruding top and the lower extended section accommodates travel tools, hoses, 2x CO2 cartridges, CO2 blower, the multi-tool…

Great bag when it fits

I was agonizing over which frame bag to buy based on all the brands and sizes available. I wanted a bag that would maximize my luggage capacity in the open triangular space between my top tube and the bottom of the frame for long rides, so I bought a large Blackburn Outpost frame bag. When it arrived I was initially disappointed as it seemed too small for my XL bike frame and too big for my wife's small bike frame. When fully opened, the large bag reached the bottom of the seat tube on my…
