Review on 🚲 Enhanced Blackburn Outpost Bicycle Frame Bag by Scott Clark

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great roomy frame bag

I started looking for frame bags when I needed an alternative to carrying a water tank on my back for long trips. I find the Medium Blackburn Outpost bike frame bag to be the best solution. The attachment points are fairly easy to attach and hold the bag securely in place. The mesh pocket on the side is great for storing snacks on the go. The zippered side pocket offered plenty of space for everything you need. The hydration tube hole was the main selling point - I bought 1.5L and 3.0L water tanks for both electrolyte and regular water. It was a bit full but both drinking tubes went through the hole and I was able to carry almost 5 liters of water! The bag bulged a little when full, but wasn't too bothersome when riding or standing on the pedals. Be sure to fasten any extra straps so they don't get in the way of the cables, pedals, or tires. It didn't serve my zip/compact solution because I couldn't access my water bottle cages (which prompted the dual tank solution). ). The image shows the dimensions of my bike, so your results may vary. All in all a very well made, durable product. Definitely recommend!
