A solid solution for saving space

Space is at a premium in my home so the Miyawell Tiered Fruit Basket is a great way to compress what would normally take up two or three plates. room in room one I was a little worried when the package arrived. It comes in its own box and all three legs of the large bowl were broken in transit. Luckily for me, none of them showed any damage, but it's worth checking out. The kit contains six parts: a large lower bowl, a smaller upper bowl, a connecting lever, a screw to attach the upper bowl to the lever, a hex. a wrench to turn the screw and a hook. Assembly is easy, the lever slides securely into the socket in the larger bowl and is held together by the bracket and upper bowl. My only criticism is that there is an obvious spot to attach the hook to the handle, which you can do if you are using the set as two separate bowls, but if you are attaching the top bowl you will need to place them, when she covers that spot the hook directly on one of the wires of the upper bowl. It doesn't really affect anything as the wire frame can support the weight of whatever sane thing you hang on the hook, but from my point of view it was just an incomprehensible design decision. Speaking of weight, I was pleasantly surprised at how much the top cup can withstand. My wife put an entire three-pound sack of tangerines and a couple of apples on it, and it showed no signs of stress. The metal frame is coated to protect your finishes and fully covers the metal to prevent corrosion. All in all, a minor annoyance with the hook design that doesn't really interfere with anything, the Miyawell basket is a well-made space-saving solution that's well worth its current price tag of around $19.
