Works well for what it is essentially a glorified egg timer. The downside is that it's cheap. At this price you should expect an all-plastic construction, and that's exactly what you get. However, it's not hard plastic as you might imagine. Rather, it is quite soft and therefore somewhat flexible. This is the main disadvantage. Even when mounted on a tripod, camera shake becomes an issue simply because this flimsy product is now sandwiched between your expensive tripod and camera. I use a fairly lightweight mirrorless camera, but I still use it with caution in environments where camera shake can be an issue. However, it's still a worthwhile purchase if you're aware of its limitations. To be honest the effect is very cool and for the price it's worth it. However, if you intend to use this on a regular basis, you might want to consider one of the more expensive electronic time-lapse panners.
