Works with a spray gun and a ladder.
Well that didn't work as expected. I tried hosing it out of the ground and it removed some of the residue but not all. I ended up putting it in a spray bottle and heading up the stairs. I have a one story house so it wasn't bad. The atomizer method worked very well, although I'm sure most of you wouldn't want to do that. However, it works fine.
