I bought these bulbs for our Hunter ceiling fan with a remote control that uses 4 bulbs to turn off and dim the lights. Surprise - when the remote control turns off the light, there's still enough power to light up those bulbs. Now we need to turn off the light with the tension chain. The lamps are said to be dimmable, but the difference in brightness between 100% and 35% is very small. What really differs is the amount of flicker. I suspect we need to keep the bulbs at 100% so they are bright enough to cover most of the flicker. Although bright, they resemble warm white incandescent bulbs in color.
