I bought these bulbs for our Hunter ceiling fan with a remote control that uses 4 bulbs to turn off and dim the lights. Surprise - when the remote control turns off the light, there's still enough power to light up those bulbs. Now we need to turn off the light with the tension chain. The lamps are said to be dimmable, but the difference in brightness between 100% and 35% is very small. What really differs is the amount of flicker. Lately it's hard for me to buy lightbulbs because all the rules about lightbulbs have changed. I hate lightbulbs that have to get hot to give them full brightness. I don't like blue lights. So often the packaging says it's the equivalent of an old lamp, but it's actually dimmer. These lamps are exactly what I needed. The coloring is spot on - light but warm in color. They had to use an older chandelier and sometimes the new bulbs had a lot of plastic on the bottom and it showed in this fixture.

They are smaller than I had hoped and look a bit small in my chandelier but I was willing to ignore that if they worked. Unfortunately there aren't any. You are terrible. Within minutes of reaching full brightness, they began flickering almost constantly. Not much flickering, but definitely consistent.
