Very good fit and finish. This grip will not scratch the camera. But there are several questions. Firstly, it comes with a magnetic mounting screw holder but without a hex key holder that you have to use as if the camera is not dangling in a cage. Second, there is a 1/4 20 socket at the bottom of the unit, but the center tripod socket is larger and you now have to mount the camera off-center. This is fine for use with tripods, but not great when mounting it on a stabilizer. Also in this model, the cold shoe has been removed from the top of the cage. If you have an a6400 make a cage for the a6500 as it has a cold shoe mount on top. This cold shoe mount is very useful and the A6500 cage fits perfectly.
