Terrible for potholders!
You will not get potholders using this product. The bands can be used (with difficulty) on a 7” loom but retract so much the off-loom dimensions are about 3” square. Also, they’re made from polyester or similar type of plastic-based material so they’ll melt and burn. These loops would be awesome if you want brightly colored, highly flammable coasters!
- I decided to make pot holders like we used to use when I was growing up...brought back warm memories!
- Poor Durability - The loops are made with a weak structure, meaning the final product may not hold up well after use or washing, resulting in frustration for the child
