Review on Hella Germany OEM BMW Engine Oil Level Sensor Sender Unit - 1261-7508-003 by James Julien

Bought for my 2004 BMW 325I and I couldn't be happier. I waited several months before writing this review to give an honest and verified review. After a month of use, it's still working great. The funny thing is I actually just changed the oil and let it out a little at a time to test to make sure it was lighting up in the right spot. It's really. For the price, I highly recommend this machine. Not much negative to say about this unit, it does what it's supposed to do and hopefully you'll never see an oil gauge, but when you see it you're glad it works ;). I'd like to add one thing though, you need to make sure you've cleaned the old contacts before connecting the new block. I've seen and read too many people who don't. If for any reason the contact is lost, this device will not function properly. So why not take an extra minute to clean and take care of it while everything is fine?
