Review on 🚙 Brandmotion 9002-8857 Rear Vision System for Jeep Wrangler JK (2007-2018): Infrared Camera & Adjustable Bracket with Factory Display Compatibility by Carlos Henley

I bought this from the seller (Quality Assurance) on Revain, not directly from the manufacturer. After spending 3 hours disassembling my car and connecting the camera, the OBD didn't work with the flash module to unlock the rear camera function on my sat nav (last installation step). I emailed the seller and he said it was a setup error on my part. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me that I would have to deal with the seller to get a refund as the seller is not an authorized seller of their product. The manufacturer said it's possible someone ordered the product, used the OBD flash module to unlock their navigation radio, returned it and then sold it to me (the OBD flash module can only be used in a car and then no longer reuse in another vehicle). Either that, or the OBD flash module was originally defective (but since it was sold by an unauthorized seller, the manufacturer was unable to determine the cause). In the end I ordered the product directly from the manufacturer, installed it and it worked. OK. After several emails back and forth with the original seller, I returned the item and received a full refund (after opening a claim with Revain). I'm not sure if the Revain guarantee was refunded or if the seller actually issued a refund. So if someone else buys this product, as a first step, plug in the OBD flash module (make sure it unlocks your navigation radio) and then continue from there.
