I've always liked the original.
The color palette felt like a study in shades of grey. When I lined up the colors, maybe 3 of them were blue? As you can see in the picture some of the lighter colors were too similar too. The cloud simply dissolves into a different color. Overall, the image is simplified compared to the original, which is a bit disappointing up close. Boats, for example, don't look like boats at all. I like it as a tribute to a reproduction that I admire a lot, but it's not the same as simply buying a reprint of the original.
