This is a micro USB cable that ends with two USB plugs to give your device twice the power. I have an external hard drive that has stopped working on my computer (because a broken graphics card seems to have shorted out my motherboard somehow) and I thought I could no longer use my external hard drive on my computer. Until I read something about the drive not getting enough power. Someone had a similar problem as me and this was one of the suggestions. The cable is cheap so I bought it. I excitedly plugged it in - to no avail. Thinking that maybe I just needed to remove the device and tell my computer to recognize it again, I was moving my mouse and starting to open Device Manager when I suddenly noticed an icon appear in the taskbar . This installed the software to recognize my device. !"Wait--"And BAM, autorun, and I'm hooked! The cable works great and I am a happy customer!
