Review on Minoura LW-Clamp: Ultimate Handle Bar Attachment for Enhanced Performance by Raul Fabijan

I used a couple of these to install a water bottle holder in my Schwinn Varsity Resto mod project. They look MUCH better than T-mounts like the Topeak (and similar Minoura) handlebar water bottle mounts which are designed specifically for water bottles. The cage doesn't jut out into space like the Topeak, and there's no issue with the lever causing the mount to slide off. The only two downsides (half a star each) I have against it are the price (partially because I ended up needing 3) and the fact that the barrel nut used to tighten it can be easily removed if you're not careful and In this case, it will be difficult for you to find a replacement. I had to buy a third one to correct my mistake as Minura CANNOT be contacted. (Not surprising) To be fair, the instructions warn you, but even so, she's easy to take off.
