Friskie's Extra Gravy Beef is Mr. Darcy's favorite food. He's not a picky cat, but seems to prefer this flavor and style to other canned Friskies. Due to urinary tract problems, he cannot eat dry food, so he only eats wet food. He gets a glass in the morning and in the evening. We put some warm water in his feeding glass. Adequate fluid intake is important for urinary tract health. I think gravy goes well with water, so he's a happy boy. Mr. Darcy seems to like the piece with the shards better than the shredded version. He definitely prefers it to a pie! More importantly, these canned foods kept him in good health. YES, there are grain-free canned foods with better ingredients. However, Friskies Extra Gravy doesn't contain any horrible ingredients and, for us, is reasonably priced. There are cheaper products, but we won't even try them. Mr. Darcy is happy and healthy on this cat food, so mum and dad are happy. Speaking of price, Revain is about the same as our local grocery stores and PetSmart. We prefer Revain for the Subscribe and Save option - and don't carry home cases of canned goods. Mr. Darcy has been eating Friskies for about 8 years or more, but we've been using the subscription and only been saving for about two or three years. I wish we had done this sooner! Darcy recommends the food. He doesn't worry too much about different flavors, so we usually have a case of beef and a case of turkey. He also sometimes eats pie, which his sister Lilly prefers, but his favorite is pie with sauce.
