Reviews on this case are confusing. I have several external hard drives and decided to try this case for my recent purchase. What mistake. This case is VERY bulky. The whole point of an external hard drive is that it's thin and portable - this case doesn't do the trick. In addition, this hull gives off a terrible chemical smell. I mean seriously bad! The smell filled my entire office space. I ended up throwing it in the trash. I am sorry. That's a NO from me. I will buy Case Logic external drive cases again.
