The overall function of the helmet was not affected by the hassle of detaching the plastic visor. I found it stayed in place a little longer when using the head, literally had to put the helmet on to help push to get the right side of the visor in place. And some say I should try to use my head for something more than a parcel shelf. Comfortable and light, good choice of colors and good price. I also like the rechargeable flashlight on the back. I prefer to ride in the sun, but one day who knows.
