I really liked this scanner, what it could do was amazing, with deep regret I had to return it, I will explain later. Customer support was excellent, they were very helpful in diagnosing the problem as well as with the return. Now for the reason I had to return this scanner. I work in the auto glass industry and needed a scanner that can dynamically recalibrate itself. After replacing a windshield with these characteristics. I'm tired of sending my customers back to the dealer for windshield recalibration. I don't currently have a store large enough to do a static calibration. I know some cars require static calibration and some require both dynamic and static calibration, but many of them can be calibrated with dynamic calibration. After much research I found out that although this tool is advertised to perform Adas calibration, the MaxiSys ADAS app requires a code (scan QR code) from the calibration framework to activate the software. That being said, if I were a mechanic I would definitely have this car. Diagnostics done on a 2004 Chevy 1500 with 280,000 miles, found 10 DTCS and found it to be fairly easy to navigate. I just pressed one button and had to contact Google immediately to give me the code without having to re-enter the code. Along with what others found out, the issue for this particular code has been resolved. The codes were easy to erase after the repair. I just want to justify keeping it.
