I love the EWA so I was really excited about this larger version of the A106. Unfortunately, if you have this speaker's little brother, you will be very disappointed when you turn it on. It's 2.6 times heavier than its little brother, but all you get is a 20% deeper sound without the little brother's harshness. You can't use the equalizer to add more bass because it's removed from the speaker. I'm sending mine back. The problem seems to be that the extra weight doesn't allow the speaker to vibrate like its little brother. To work in the same way you need a bigger driver.
