FINALLY a suitable replacement for the original UA Compression Pad and Starter Compression Gear that Walmart discontinued a few years ago. This top is amazing, it's true compression unlike many on the market and I've tried many of these. I put this guy on and immediately ordered five more without missing a beat. The quality of UA compression devices has really deteriorated over the years and I was very disappointed when Walmart and Starter closed their joint line about 5-6 years ago. My collection was falling into disrepair and I had to learn to sew on my wife's sewing machine for her to practice and sometimes every day. If you're looking for something that looks like an old piece, you've found it. I've only tried black so can't speak for other colors (in my experience they can vary a bit, especially for grey) but I could definitely buy 5-10 more soon and finally give up my starter gear. The XL fits just as I expected and the non-slip waistband is amazing and not something you typically see on compression garments under $100. Score 12/10 - I cannot put into words how happy I am with this purchase.
