I had to return this item as none of the cables worked as intended to connect my Canon EOS Rebel T7 to my MacBook Pro. I tried both cables and installed the Canon EOS Utility software three times to make sure the software wasn't the problem. The cable was the right size for the Canon adapter and MacBook Pro, but Image Capture was unable to recognize the camera. I checked my iPhone to make sure Image Capture was correctly identifying other devices and that was it. I even contacted Apple Support and it seems to be working with Image Capture. I decided to go to the local camera shop and the guy who helped me told me it was the cables; they usually don't work. I wanted to buy another cable from him but he said this cable is not the best for transferring photos from my camera to my Mac. I ended up buying an SD Travel Reader and it worked great. I would not recommend purchasing this item. The Revain return process was smooth and easy.
