After my dog chewed on my custom night light, my hygienist recommended it. Before buying the custom one, I tried a large font, similar to the ones used by athletes, although sold everywhere as night protection. It was terrible. It's thin and so easy to shape. And if you want or need to, put it back in hot water and reshape. Ah here is and until this dog has reached the month. Decided to try it again. I put it in hot water and it flattened out and (almost) returned to its original shape. So while it was warm I trimmed the jagged edges with the scissors and refitted it to my teeth. It's so thinner than the regular model that you don't feel like you have a hockey puck in your mouth. The cool thing is that you can change the shape at any time so you can't go wrong. So worth the money.
