I have been looking for a crimping tool that is a cut above pliers or the ones you find in a cheap set and also needs to work with ferrules. This iWiss crimping machine with interchangeable jaws meets all requirements and at an attractive price. I used a crimping tool for shrink butt connectors, small wire end sleeves and wire end sleeves. He did a great job with everyone. The crimp tool has a force setting and in the end I increased the crimp force and as a result all the crimps were strong. The bolsters appear to be reasonably well made and fit the instrument well. Replacing the jaws with screws is a little tedious, but not bad. The case feels good, although it's not designed to store the included wire stripper, just sits inside, and the crimping tool and screwdriver have rubber bands and Velcro to keep them in the case. Insulated crimping dies (red, blue, yellow) work well with standard and heat shrink insulated terminals. The ferrule crimping tool doesn't produce a perfect square, but works well with the sizes I've tried. I haven't used the other heads yet, but they all seem to be well made. If you're a pro who uses them every day, you might need a better tool, but for most DIY or backup people, it's hard to go wrong. with these.
