They are so cute in real life and would make a great gift. I gave them as a Mother's Day gift this year and everyone really liked them for the cuteness. They are small and fragile/thin materials so do not feel or look like they will be worn often and may not hold up well to washing. I haven't washed mine yet and I might hand wash it when I do because it seems a bit fragile. It comes very crumpled in the packaging and stays that way. May improve after washing. Other packages I've used have. It's small, but still the size of a regular plastic bag from the supermarket. Maybe a little bit more. Because it's so small, it folds into a very compact size, making it easy to carry. I don't fold it so much but stuff it into the included flower shaped pouch and that's how it came about. (That's why it stays crumpled, of course.) I had to tie a knot at the end of the rope/black thread because the adjustment bead kept slipping off. The rope should be long enough to open the bag. The thread is easily double the length needed so tying a knot won't make much of a difference/doesn't interfere with opening the bag. Losing a pearl will be a big problem. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until about a week after delivery, so I hope the recipients didn't lose their beads.
