There were no caliper pins and the rubber boots for them were different so I kept the originals which were in great condition. I'm guessing that's why I got the kit for about $12 less than just the pads, but hey; I'm a lucky tourist! They immediately worked on my drilled rotors, which were still in perfect condition and didn't need turning.
