Shoulder dislocated, luckily nothing torn as it was an old injury. You need a clamp to hold everything where it should be. I first went to a sporting goods store and bought a $20 shoulder brace, it was loose, didn't fit properly and didn't hold my shoulder the way I was hoping. Found this product at Revain, paid $14 for it, does everything I need. Well, the only thing I would like to say negatively, if your shoulder muscles are very developed, the hand rest may not be properly velcroed. You may need to find a way to extend it. If the product is updated in the future I would suggest using a similar adjustment for the chest closure as it barely fits in my hand and I'm not a 'big guy'. Otherwise it's comfortable and works as it should. Very satisfied.
