Review on Corehan 7 Inch Touch Screen Double Din Car Stereo with Bluetooth - Android Auto and Car Play Compatible by Rafael Lee

Started well but lacked the proper car dash mounts but I managed to get the stock mount working with some effort and zip ties. The wiring harnesses are very thin but this is a cheap stereo so the screen is very dim anyway, it hung on the carplay a lot but overall was decent enough for its price. The lights in my car didn't match the radio and kept getting brighter. Dimmer depending on my speed. I sent this to their support and they told me to unplug the backlight cable. The return cable didn't do anything, my camera didn't trigger at all. Even if the camera isn't connected, it should still show no signal, so it didn't work properly regardless of the camera. I'm clarifying this because support indicated that my camera was not getting power. One day the sound became very loud and distorted. It sounded like a wheel bearing failing and within seconds it went from quiet to loud, scaring me to death. After that I turned it off and on again and it was just very quiet and at times it got loud and distorted. A replacement came in the mail a few days later so I took it out and when I did that the bottom was visibly damaged from the heat. He seemed to be brewing from within. I thought maybe the wiring was loose or something grounded somewhere, but no, that wasn't the problem. I did the meticulous work of attaching the wires from the wiring harness to my car's wiring harness and tape them one by one and then roll them together. Everything was isolated and protected and I did the same for a new radio I got from another company (BOSS) and it had NONE of these problems. Not worth the hassle when you get a bad device like me. Seems like shit whether you like it or not.
