I'll give these mats a hard 4, probably closer to a 4.5. The fit is very, very good, especially in the front. The rear mats fit exactly. But for the price, they probably can't be beat. They are designed to fit snugly, not over rugs. The result is a very nice, low profile protection card that attaches to plastic locators that are built into the floor of the car. They are exactly what I needed, protection from accidentally getting my feet wet. However, if you're running in the mud or in oversized winter boots, consider something with big edges like Weathertech. What really drew me in was the cover that covers the driver's left footrest. On mazda it is not protected and I am afraid it will soon wear out and be a thorn in the side of the floorboard. The fit there isn't perfect, but it does the job and most other mat options don't have that feature. This is a big plus in my book.
