I was looking for a fabric tape measure that could be hung around my neck like an old fashioned tailor (something that won't slip off my shoulders for a few minutes.) This is a product that I don't think anyone else is selling! So soft and flexible without feeling smooth and plastic. I rarely need more length, but that's a plus.
