I bought this amp for my truck because my old Planet audio amp cracked from the elements so I went with the UTV/Boat amp because it's designed to withstand those issues and it's nice and small too, easy to mount behind my truck seat, just got it so can't say for sure how well it will handle the heat because it doesn't have cooling fins, but i installed a pc fan next to it. I live in the Mojave desert, it's 110 degrees plus 3 months a year, the last amp keeps getting cut off from the heat and I wish it had a bass control otherwise I think I'll be happy with this amp.
