killer amp! suitable for marine electronics

This amp puts out power! I installed it on my boat and it works great. Be careful when setting up. It's very powerful and you can blow your subs if you're not careful with the gain.

So much. STRENGTH! - Automotive and automotive electronics

Used this to run two 10" high compression horn wetsounds on my boat wakeboard tower. You need 300W RMS, that's 400W RMS. Keep the gain on the lowest setting and set the crossover to 60Hz and it sounds fantastic! The Wetsounds amp is 100 watts smaller and costs $500 more. It totally exceeded my expectations and sounds absolutely amazing when wakeboarding.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Small parts

Oh yeah ! Here it is!

I just got this amp I ordered, Rockville RXM-T2. Haven't hooked it up yet but I have a lot of experience with amps and from the specs and specs this amp is going to have some serious real power. For the mids and highs I like to use Class A/B amplifiers. I use class D amps for bass and midbass. I will be using this amp in a large van to power a pair of 8" 4 ohm mid-bass speakers from 80Hz to 400-500Hz. I think this amp will work very well. To everyone reading this, never, ever, ever mount an…

Love Rockville amps, value and quality together

I bought this amp for my truck because my old Planet audio amp cracked from the elements so I went with the UTV/Boat amp because it's designed to withstand those issues and it's nice and small too, easy to mount behind my truck seat, just got it so can't say for sure how well it will handle the heat because it doesn't have cooling fins, but i installed a pc fan next to it. I live in the Mojave desert, it's 110 degrees plus 3 months a year, the last amp keeps getting cut off from the heat and I…

The Booster awakens your inner Yeti!

I'm using this amp on a single 12" Rockville K9 DVC 2 ohm. This makes the sub too loud. It's currently around 1135 RMS and I don't get a boost until 11am. The amp is compact ., powerful, moisture and water resistant. The extruded aluminum body looks beautiful and adds a valuable aesthetic touch. The amplifier has 3 35A fuses, so it has enough power for a size of 12" x 6, 7" x 2" and delivers better IMOHP components. I will be ordering an RXD-F30 soon to complete the front stage.

Rockville RXM-T2 Micro 2400W 2 Channel Marine Amp

I have had this amp on my 26ft controller for over 2 years now and it still works. I initially wired it up with 6 Kicker 8" speakers (150W RMS) in parallel, so 1.67 ohms per channel. Okay, I'd try 8" Rockville speakers, 250W RMS each. Same 3 parallel wires per Channel and the amp will clip them but these are speakers with powerful magnets so they aren't as musical as Kicker but for the price they really can't get any better, ridiculously loud and with a good amount of bass for the price…
