I bought this handrail to install in our garage to make it easier for my mom to get into our house since our porch has 4 steep flights of stairs. The door from the garage to the back of the kitchen only has 2 steps to access the main kitchen floor. We appreciated the safety and aesthetics, and now our elderly parents have a wide, thick railing to hold on to when going down or up the steps from the garage floor. The kit included everything for installation in a concrete wall. Since we needed to mount a rack behind the drywall, I needed some 2.5" wood screws to attach this rail to the wall. This method only took 10 minutes to attach and was ready to use. This is very hard work and will likely take a lifetime. With so many options, we're glad we chose this one.
