Review on Tovolo Tight Fitting Stacking Sweet Treat by Heather Seay

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I should have read the review. The Dixie cup is small.

They are as strong as the larger Tovolo Quarts, only miniaturized, unfortunately they are too small for efficient use. Unless you're making more ice cream from a blender than batches with an ice cream maker, you're going to have a hard time picking up fresh, melting chunks of ice cream into those tiny containers for later use. You'll make more mess than usual. Also, you're more likely to trap air when packing these containers, or remove too much air if you pack too tightly. This is a talent that you must learn if you want to use it. Also, because they're so tiny, you'll either have to make much smaller batches (which isn't really possible) or buy multiple sets of these containers so you don't end up with extra ice. A much more convenient size would be 14-16 fl oz.

Pros
  • HOMEMADE ICE CREAM STORAGE: These ice cream tins hold 6 oz of homemade ice cream, ice cream or sorbet. Freezer containers are breathable and retain flavor. Light-colored lids add zest to your freezer.
Cons
  • No Instructions
