Description of Tovolo Tight Fitting Stacking Sweet Treat

STORE HOMEMADE ICE CREAM: These ice cream tubs hold 6 ounces of homemade ice cream, gelato, or sorbet. The freezer-safe containers keep out air and seal in flavor. The colorful lids add a touch of whimsy to your freezer. PREVENT FREEZER BURN: Silicone lid tightly seals around the lip of the plastic tub, sealing out air that leads to freezer burn. Silicone provides light insulation to keep your ice cream, gelato, sorbet, or other frozen foods as fresh as possible. REMOVE LID EASILY: Flexible silicone lid pulls off of frozen ice cream tubs easily, making it simple to access your frozen treat as soon as you want to. The silicone lid can be replaced quickly as the flexible material slides over the lip. STACK TUBS IN THE FREEZER: Silicone stretches taut to support other tubs. Stack tubs on top of each other for compact storage, making room for more ice cream!. DIMENSIONS & MATERIALS: Each tub measures 5.5" L X 5.5" W X 3.25" D; made of BPA-free and dishwasher-safe plastic and silicone. Set of 4 reusable ice cream tubs.

Quality but Tiny: Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

When I first opened these I was disappointed at how tiny they were but the description actually says 6 oz so that was user error. These are definitely disposable portion control containers. The quality is excellent. Very durable plastic container and thick silicone lid. I noticed that some reviews were disappointed that the ice cream only lasted a few days, but when I read my ice cream brochure it said that homemade ice cream was only good for a few days; So I don't think they're necessarily…

Stunningly perfect

When I first got them I thought "No way. They're damn small." I had a batch of keto ice cream and decided to try them anyway. They're small, yes. They look even smaller than you can imagine from the photos alone. However, they're surprisingly perfect. One was the perfect hearty portion. Believe me, nobody is more shocked than me. So don't let the size fool you. They are perfect for portion control and hold just the right amount. The ice cream doesn't stick to the walls, it is very easy to clean

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Crumpled

I've had these for a few months now and absolutely love them. While I've used them to store homemade ice cream I once made in my ice cream maker, I mainly use them to store my homemade banana "delicious cream" that I make in my blender by using frozen bananas, some natural peanut butter and some cocoa beans. They protect the ice cream from burning in the freezer and the lid closes tightly. I let each dip sit for a few minutes before I'm about to eat it, just to thaw it out a bit. I also have…

I should have read the review. The Dixie cup is small.

They are as strong as the large quart tovolo jars, only miniaturized, unfortunately too small for efficient use. Unless you're making more ice cream from a blender than batches with an ice cream maker, you're going to have a hard time picking up fresh, melting chunks of ice cream into those tiny containers for later use. You'll make more mess than usual. Also, you're more likely to trap air when packing these containers, or remove too much air if you pack too tightly. This is a talent that you…

They are very cute and work well!

These little mugs are simply a gem! The eyelids are such a perfect color, light enough to be happy and light enough to be the color of candy ice cream. :)SO PRETTY! My picture doesn't justify them. I'm not a photographer. They're firm and not smooth in texture, which comes in handy when scooping up ice cream. You can hold them in your hands and they don't want to slip out of your hands. frozen-glued after it was in the freezer. you can take them off They're great for portioning when you want to

Pros
  • Household and kitchen
Cons
  • Don't know

First a very cute product I wanted to put in my homemade ice cream freezer. But size. The description contains contradicting information. The container holds less than 6 ounces of liquid, maybe they meant weight? Next is the size of the container. In the description (7/2021) it is listed as "DIMENSIONS AND MATERIALS: Each tub measures 5.5" (L) x 5.5" (W) and 3.25" (D). No way. Rather 3 inches high, 2.5 inches above and 2 inches below. . Think of a cup of Dixie. I don't know if four of these…
