I bought this charger because I had parked several cars with dead batteries for a while. At the same time I washed and filled the battery electrolyte, charged it and checked the capacity, CCA condition, internal resistance and charging current. The higher the resistance, the more sulphation there is in the battery, reducing its functionality. I've done several charge cycles and a CCA recheck and 2 out of 3 batteries have been updated. Using this tool took the guesswork out of the process and showed real-time progress. Being able to charge, check and test the battery and charging system is just great. You will not be disappointed!
