Works as described: HDMI cable
Needed something to connect my cheap camcorder to a longer HDMI cable and it worked. If you need to pan/rotate your camera on a sports tripod or similar, you may need something longer. My camera intermittently lost signal due to excessive physical stress on the mini HDMI port, but this seems to be more of a camera issue than an adapter issue. If he's not moving too much, this thing should help you.
