This is definitely a fully functional desk chair and one of the quickest and easiest to assemble I've ever owned. It's basically two steps. Step 1 Take out the two pieces from the box and Step 2 put the top piece on the bottom piece. Did. The design and adjustability feel very well thought out. My favorite feature is the fully adjustable armrests and the multiple adjustment options (inside-outside, front-to-back, up-down, angled, table height). The rest is very strong and well filled. It's also great that you can slide the seat in and out. The overall quality of the chair is very good. I'm 6'1", weigh 255 pounds and it feels solid and stable in its full height. The seat is well padded and comfortable even for long periods of time. Just the right amount of support where I need it. If the price would be appropriate for its features and quality, I would have no hesitation in recommending this chair.
