I am disappointed that these toys are made of PVC. I was too quick to order them without reading all the details. Even though PVC does not contain phthalates, it can still contain harmful chemicals that are leached out when a child chews on a toy (e.g. organotin compounds). Unfortunately, children's toys are under-regulated in the US. Unfortunately, parents cannot rely on well-known toy manufacturers using harmless materials. I expected more from Infantino.
